Summer Education Camps

Temple’s Summer Education Camps provide a wonderful opportunity for kids, tweens, and teens between the ages of 8 and 17 to learn about a specific area of interest, experience a college campus, and have lots of fun at the same time. Youth summer camps will be offered at our Ambler and Main Campus locations during the months of June, July and August.

Most camps are one-week, full-day camps that run Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Camp Logistics

Camp Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Camps begin at 9 AM. Campers can be dropped off starting at 8:30 AM. Camps end at 4:00 PM. All campers must be picked up by 4:30 PM.

Extended Care:  Extended care is available but you must register for this service prior to the start of camp. You will have the opportunity to register for before and after care at the time of registration. If you need extended care before 8:30 AM and after 4:30 PM, please contact the Office of Non-Credit and Continuing Education regarding your needs at, or 267-468-8500. Extended care will be offered as follows:

AM Care: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM = $25/week

PM Care: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM = $50/week

Both AM & PM Care: $65/week

Campers must be registered for a full day of camp to be eligible for before and/or aftercare.

Lunch and Snacks: There are no dining services for camps. Campers should bring lunch in a small cooler or insulated bag; there is no refrigeration available for camper lunches. Campers will be supervised by the camp staff during the lunch hour. Lunch is from 12 pm to 1 pm. The lunch hour may also include time for movies and games. Campers may also want to bring snacks for break times during the morning and afternoon.
